เรื่องของสี (The Story of Colours)

นิทรรศการครั้งนี้เป็นการแสดงงานเดี่ยวครั้งที่ 3 ของข้าพเจ้า เนื่องในโอกาสที่ปฏิบัติราชการมาจนถึงอายุครบ 60 ปี ซึ่งถือได้ว่าเป็นปีสุดท้ายของการทำงานรับใช้ประเทศชาติในสถาบันสอนศิลปะแห่งนี้ เป็นการรวบรวมผลงานชุดใหม่ทั้งหมดจำนวน 30 ชิ้นที่ทำขึ้นตั้งแต่ต้นปี พ.ศ. 2553-2554 มาจัดแสดง ณ หอศิลป์จามจุรี จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยได้รับทุนสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะจากกองทุนวิจัย สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบังเป็นผู้สนับสนุน ผลงานชุดนี้ของข้าพเจ้าเป็นเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับสีโดยตรงในรูปแบบของงานจิตรกรรมนามธรรม (Abstract) มีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะเผยแพร่ความรู้ความเข้าใจในเรื่องราวของสีให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อการศึกษาศิลปะสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจทั่วไปและวงการศิลปกรรมร่วมสมัยเป็นการสร้างสรรค์งานจิตรกรรมที่ใช้สีที่สดใสเป็นตัวดำเนินเรื่องโดยตรง ผสมผสานกับร่องรอยที่เกิดจากการแตะแต้มของฝีแปรงน้อยใหญ่ที่ทำงานประสานสัมพันธ์ร่วมกันก่อให้เกิดรูปร่างของสีในลักษณะต่างๆอย่างเป็นอิสระ สีแต่ละสีเป็นสีที่สดใสถูกป้ายด้วยฝีแปรงในรูปทรงต่างๆวางอยู่เคียงคู่กันทับซ้อนกัน เปล่งพลังของสีแต่ละสีโต้ตอบกันไปมา สำหรับข้าพเจ้าแล้วสีเป็นตัวบ่งบอกถึงความคิดและการแสดงออกของจิตใจ สีเป็นตัวบ่งบอกถึงอารมณ์และความรู้สึก สีเป็นตัวบ่งบอกถึงห้วงระยะเวลาและฤดูกาล เช่น เช้า สาย บ่าย เย็น ฤดูร้อน ฤดูฝน ฤดูหนาว สีให้ความรู้สึกสัมผัสทางจิตใจ สีสามารถรับรู้ได้ถึงความสงบ ความสุข ความสนุกสนาน ความร่าเริงเบิกบาน สีมีพลังในตัวของมันเองสีแต่ละสีจะเปล่งพลังออกมาตอบโต้ซึ่งกันและกันระหว่างสีต่อสีและสีอื่นๆที่อยู่ข้างเคียง พลังของสีจะเป็นตัวเร่งเร้าและกระตุ้นให้ผู้ดูรู้สึกรับรู้ได้ไม่เฉพาะเพียงทางสายตาเท่านั้นแต่หมายถึงการรับรู้ทางอารมณ์และความรู้สึกทางจิตใจอีกด้วย ผลงานที่นำมาจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการศิลปกรรม “เรื่องของสี” ในครั้งนี้แบ่งออกเป็น 4 กลุ่มสี อันได้แก่กลุ่มสีเหลืองสีส้มที่สว่างสดใสและกลุ่มสีชมพูอันอ่อนหวานโดยต้องการที่จะสื่อถึงเรื่องราวสีสันจากต้นไม้ดอกไม้ในฤดูร้อนอันยาวนาน กลุ่มสีเขียวอ่อนสีเขียวเข้มต้องการที่จะสื่อถึงความเย็นชุ่มฉ่ำในฤดูฝน และกลุ่มสีฟ้าสีน้ำเงินต้องการจะสื่อถึงความหนาวเย็นของฤดูหนาว ผู้ดูจะถูกโอบล้อมรายรอบด้วยสีสันต่างๆที่สดใสเหล่านี้ สามารถสัมผัสรับรู้ถึงสิ่งที่กล่าวมาแล้วนี้ได้โดยอาศัยประสบการณ์ สัญชาติญาณ อารมณ์ ความรู้สึกในจิตใจ ก่อให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาตอบโต้ของแต่ละบุคคลที่จะสร้างสรรค์จินตนาการแห่งสีให้กว้างไกลได้อย่างไร้ขอบเขตจำกัด อันเป็นจุดมุ่งหมายหลักของการแสดงนิทรรศการในครั้งนี้ พร้อมกันนี้ได้นำเอาบทความเรื่องของสีที่เคยตีพิมพ์ในสูจิบัตรการแสดงนิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งที่ 1 และครั้งที่ 2 มาลงพิมพ์ในสูจิบัตรเล่มนี้เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นแนวความคิดในการทำงานของข้าพเจ้าทั้งหมดด้วย

The Story of Colours

This is the Third time of presenting solo exhibition on the occasion of reaching 60 year retirement age which is considered as the final year for my service rendered to the country and the art institution.
This is the collection of my new works totaled 30 pieces were created from 2010 right to beginning of 2011. The exhibition will be held at The Chamchuree Art Gallery Chulalongkorn University with a support from The Art Innovation and Analyzer Fund-King Mongkuts’ Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. My works are directly related to colours in the form of abstract art with the objective of propagating and creating the understanding to admirers and the contemporary art circle. It is the artworks that I employ bright colours as the main theme in combination of traces created by large and small brushworks in harmonious relationship which the colours are formed in different dimension and act independently.
The bright colours are created by brushstrokes and the forms are adjacent to another or on top of one another, and the individuals coulours are vibrating the radiance to one another. For me, I interpret that colours denote to emotion and feeling, colours can tell about time and season such as morning-afternoon-evening-summer-rainy and winter. Colours give feeling that lead to emotion perception and can be perceived to peace-happiness-enjoyment. Each colour has its own power and vibrating the energy against one another and to adjacent colour. The colour power will stimulate and urge perception to the viewers not only in vision but also a perception in mood and mental feeling.
I divide the collection into 4 groups. The group of yellow and orange represent the brightness and pink represents the sweetness which will tell story of trees and flowers in the long summer season-the group of light and dark green will tell about the coolness in the rainy season and the blue group will tell about the coldness of the winter. The viewers will be surrounded by the bright colours which they can be perceived by using their experiences-instinctive-emotion and inner feeling that lead to countering action of individuals who can in turn create limitless imagination which is the main objective of this exhibition. I also included color articles printed in the programs of the two previous exhibitions in order to show my work concept
