SUBDUED tells the stories of Thai social foundations through the work of well-known 10 local designers and studios, interpreting the ideas of power endorsement, being obedient and submissive, respecting seniority without any conditions through furniture and object designs.

นิทรรศการ SUBDUED เน้นที่จะสะท้อนและเล่าเรื่องรากฐานสภาพทางสังคมไทยผ่านงานออกแบบโดย 10 นักออกแบบไทยและสตูดิโอชั้นนำผสานแนวคิดทางศิลปะถ่ายทอด รูปแบบของสังคมที่ปฏิบัติตามคำสั่ง โดยสถานะและวุฒิอย่างไม่มีเงื่อนไขให้แปรสภาพออกมาเป็นข้าวของเครื่องใช้ภายในครัวเรือน เพื่อเปิดเผยให้เห็นถึงสถาวะอันปกติของการยอมรับซึ่งอำนาจที่เป็นอยู่ในชีวิตประจำวัน
