หนึ่งฤทัย เผือกเพี้ยน  ศิลปินหญิงรุ่นใหม่ที่มีผลงานน่าจับตามอง โดยเธอได้ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของความผูกพันที่ได้รับจากครอบครัว และ วิถีทางวัฒนธรรมผ่านลายเส้นบนพื้นไม้ทั้งการขูดและการแกะ  “ร่อง” คือ ลักษณะของการกระทำที่เกิดจากการขูดการแกะเพื่อให้วัตถุนั้นลึกลงไป เปรียบได้กับร่องของสมอง ที่เป็นตัวกักเก็บความทรงจำและประสบการณ์ของมนุษย์ที่เพิ่มขึ้นไปตามเงื่อนไขของการเวลา    “รอย”  เป็นผลพวงจากความทรงจำ ความคิด และอารมณ์ความรู้สึก จากการถ่ายทอดผ่านลายเส้นบนพื้นไม้ที่มีรูปทรงมาจากจิตใต้สำนึกและจินตนาการจากความทรงจำในวัยเยาว์ ออกมาเป็นผลงานทางศิลปะที่เชื่อมโยงเข้ากับวิถีชีวิตแบบไทยที่หล่อหลอมให้เกิดเป็นลักษณะเฉพาะตน
“ร่องรอยจินตนาการจากความทรงจำ” จึงเป็นการทบทวนความทรงจำซึ่งตัวศิลปินเองนั้นยังคงวนเวียนอยู่ในห้วงคำนึงของความรักความผูกพันที่มีต่อบุคคลอันเป็นที่รัก อาจมีบ้างที่ความทรงจำเหล่านี้อาจจะเลือนรางไป แต่การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนี้เองที่เป็นตัวกระตุ้นความทรงจำให้ชัดเจนขึ้น  โดยหวังว่าผลงานชุดนี้จะนำมาซึ่งความสุขและรอยยิ้มให้กับผู้คนในสังคมที่เริ่มจะห่างหายจากความสุขที่ได้รับจากครอบครัวและวิถีทางวัฒนธรรมที่เคยมีมา ให้กลับมาถวิลหาอีกครั้ง

“Memoir of Imprinted Imageries”

Opening Reception is on 19 October 2011, 6 pm  at Galerie N 
Neungrutai  Puekpean, a young, talented female artist tells stories of family bonding and a way of life through cut and groove images on wood.  The groove’s depth is similar to how our brain imprints memories and experiences. These memories are stored and hidden but still, can be recalled when stimulated. These imprints result from the thoughts, emotions, and feelings residing within her sub-consciousness.  She fuses these imprints with her childhood imagination to create unique images of artworks that connects and conveys the Thai way of life. 
Lingering thoughts of love and her bond to beloved ones are recalled by telling these stories. It brings back one's contented memories. She also hopes to bring back a smile and to fulfill their happiness, focused on family values that has been missing. She seeks to recall a simpler way of Thai life by taking memories faded and breathing life into them.
