Event Description

On Tuesday November 10th from 6-8pm, I will have my first solo show in Bangkok.

Plans for this project began at of อี Bush's final term; I decided to tour the USA and document the destruction that he had carried out across the country. However, after the Obama victory, I realized that the mood of the country was changing and that I wanted to do something different. The resulting work is a celebration of my home country's original beauty. Things, uniquely American, which somehow survived Bush's wrath.

Come to the opening party. Come on time. Don't complain about rain (bring an umbrella). Don't complain about lack of parking (5 min walk from Sala Dang BTS). Don't complain about not being in Bangkok (still have two weeks to get here).

Bring your friends. Bring your lovers. Bring that cute person who you have been trying to pick up, but haven't been able to think of anything interesting to say. Bring gypsies, tramps and thieves.

ในการแสดงภาพถ่ายงานเดี่ยวครั้งแรกในกรุงเทพฯ ลุค แคซสาดี-ดอเรียน นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง นำเสนองานชุดใหม่ที่ได้แรงบัลดาลใจจากที่ ประธานาธิบดี Barak Obama ชนะการเลือกตั้ง ซึ่งแสดงถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลงของแนวความคิดของชาวอเมริกัน อย่างงานของ ลุค ซึ่งถ่ายทอดผ่านภาพถ่าย ได้งดงาม ลึกซิ้ง เพียงภาพชินตา กลายเป็นงานศิลป์ ผ่านปลายชัตเตอร์ของลุค ผู้ดึงเอาความงามลึกซึ้งออกมาให้ได้เราได้ชื่นชม อย่างรถเก่าที่จอดทิ้งอยู่อย่างเดียวดายริมถนน ทั้งป้ายริมถนนก็กลายเป็น สถาปัตยกรรมชิ้นเอกได้ ความงามแสนโรแมนติค จากภาพนิ่งก็สามารถเล่าเรื่องราวอันประทับใจได้ โดยปราศจากคำบรรยายใด ๆ
