Psychologists, in the 19th century, dates back to 80-90 years ago, intensely studied dreams, believed as cognitive processing, not foretelling of future, but indicators of cognition when awake. According to Sigmund Freud Theory, conscious mind is a state of awareness, which is to act in a rational way.
After graduate, most art graduates choose to make a career related to art, others choose to work in different fields due to financial need. Still while earning a living, they continue to create works of art during free time. Creating works of art is like recording memorable moments, both past and present, through different forms of creation, for instance, diary, writing, photography. Sometimes, a creation is inspired by their current career. Today, art movements are driven by a small group of people, or small units of individuals. These small movements result into art spaces in Bangkok, a hope, a dream, an undone, a drive of unfinished thinking. Art does not only exist as a symbol of virtue, but also create roles of artists in society (politics) and in art scene itself. The “DROWSE” Exhibition is likely to be compared with symptoms of a lack of sleep from overworking, earning a iving, or creating works of art occasionally only to sweeten our dream before waking up.

The “DROWSE” Exhibition includes the works of 8 young artists who still make a career and create their works of art in Bangkok.

The Exhibition is open to the public from Friday, Nov 14 Nov until 14 Dec 2014 at Use space samsen road near soi samsen24
