ไมเคิล เชาวนาศัย ภูมิใจเสนอ DEE RUE LEAW : 2013 Concept Collections “ดีฤๅเลว”: มโนทัศน์วัตถุทาส” โดยได้ร่วมมือกับนักออกแบบแฟชั่นระดับสากล : พริ้ง และศิลปินภาพถ่ายร่วมสมัย : กรกฤต เจียรพินิจนันท์ ในการสร้างสรรค์งานชุดนี้

แนวความคิดหลักของ “ดีฤๅเลว” คือ ธาตุที่รักษาสมดุลในจิตใจของมนุษย์ สิ่งเหล่านี้มาในรูปของความถูกความผิด ความสูงความต่ำ หรือความดีและความเลว ปรัชญาที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นไมเคิลได้สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นมาในรูปแบบของเครื่องแต่งกาย อาทิเช่น รองเท้า กระเป๋า เสื้อคลุมและผ้าพันคอ ซึ่งในโลกปัจจุบันวัตถุเหล่านี้ได้โดนใช้เป็นเครื่องมือวัดคุณค่าของความเป็นคน โดยเราลืมไปชั่วขณะว่ามันคือเครื่องนุ่งห่ม,หนึ่งในปัจจัยสี่ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานของการดำเนินชีวิต

ลักษณะพิเศษของผลงานชุดนี้คือ รองเท้าทุกคู่ได้ออกแบบมาให้มีความต่างกันในรายละเอียดและไม่กำหนดซ้ายหรือขวาเพื่อให้อิสระในการสลับข้างใส่ตามอารมณ์และสถานการณ์ในใจของผู้สวม สำหรับผ้าพันคอและกระเป๋าคือเครื่องมือที่ใช้สะท้อนถึงสถานภาพภายในของผู้ใส่ต่อผู้ได้พบเห็น

Michael Shaowanasai is proudly present “Dee rue Leaw: 2013 Concept Collections”: in collaboration with internationally acclaimed designer, Pring and Thailand’s fame artist and photographer, Konkrit Jianpinitnun.

The concept of this body of works is the reflections of the basic human value: “Good and Bad” through the sculptures in the forms of garments. As one of human’s basic need, clothing creates first impression and illusion about the person we meet but underneath the outer skin of fabrics and flesh, human hold the core value of good and bad and we carry them everywhere we go. Michael’s creates collection of poignant objects those reflect this dual qualities in the forms of luxury goods such as high heels, clutches and scarves. With superficial forms, the objects entice the viewers to recollect and recognize his or her conventional knowledge. Thought provoking as ever, Michael’s 2013 concept collection deals with the act of revealing and concealing in social practices and the function to which the artworks may be assigned, embodying and confronting personal and collective beliefs.

“Dee rue Leaw: 2013 Concept Collections” will be at RMA Shukumvit 22 from March 7th to March 31st.
