ศูนย์สร้างสรรค์งานออกแบบ (TCDC) ในฐานะหน่วยงานสำคัญที่มุ่งขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจไทยด้วยความคิดสร้างสรรค์ เตรียมการจัดงานชุมนุมทางความคิดประจำปี Creativities Unfold, Bangkok 2010 ภายใต้แนวคิด “Play: From Passion to Business ทำเป็นเล่น เห็นเงินล้าน” ซึ่งจะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 20-21 มีนาคม 2553

ธุรกิจสร้างสรรค์ที่ประสบความสำเร็จมักเกิดจาก ‘ความชอบ’ แทบทั้งสิ้น เมื่อความชอบพัฒนากลายเป็นความหลงใหลคลั่งไคล้ จนเกิดเป็นแรงผลักดันให้คนคนหนึ่งทำธุรกิจจากสิ่งที่ตัวเองรัก จึงไม่ใช่เรื่องแปลกที่เขาจะประสบความสำเร็จ เพราะสิ่งที่เรียกว่า ‘งาน’ จะเปลี่ยนนิยามไปสู่การ ‘เล่น’ ที่มีแต่ความสนุก เพลิดเพลิน ไม่รู้เบื่อ ไม่ต่างอะไรกับการ ‘เล่น’ ของเด็กๆ ที่ต้องอาศัยจินตนาการและความคิดสร้างสรรค์นำทาง ชุมนุมทางความคิด “Play: From Passion to Business ทำเป็นเล่น เห็นเงินล้าน” จึงเกิดขึ้น โดยเชิญสุดยอดผู้เชี่ยวชาญการคาดการณ์เทรนด์โลก นักคิด นักเขียน ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจ และนักออกแบบจากหลายสาขามาเป็นวิทยากรในงานซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็นสองวันตามธีมดังนี้คือ

20 มีนาคม 2553: 4Play and Play Space
ก่อนลงเล่น ต้องเรียนรู้กติกาและทิศทางลม
เมื่อ Workspace ในปัจจุบันมีความหมายกว้างกว่าสำนักงาน
เพราะคนสร้างสรรค์เลือก ‘เมือง’ ก่อน ‘งาน’

21 มีนาคม 2553: Play Partners
เพราะคนสร้างสรรค์ไม่ชอบเล่นคนเดียว พวกเขาจึงต้องการหุ้นส่วนในการเล่น

ท่ามกลางสภาพเศรษฐกิจตกต่ำทั่วโลก TCDC มุ่งจุดประกายความหวังให้ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจสร้างสรรค์ไทย หากมั่นใจว่าคุณกำลังทำในสิ่งที่ตัวเองรัก คุณจะ ‘เล่น’ กับงานอย่างสนุกสนาน และนั่นคือเหตุผลเดียวที่ทำให้คุณฮึดสู้ต่อไป!

Play: From Passion to Business

Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC), an organization which aims to drive Thailand economy by creativity, is organizing an annual symposium, Creativities Unfold, Bangkok 2010, on the theme of “Play: From Passion to Business” during 20th-21st March 2010.

Passion is a common trait shared among successful creative entrepreneurs. Through turning affection to passion, the drive for starting a business is born. It should be of no surprise to find that passion lies at the core of most successful businesses. These creative entrepreneurs do not see their job as a duty but see it as playing based on their creativity and imagination. It was from the idea ‘Working to Playing’ that inspired this year’s theme, “Play: From Passion to Business”. Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) provides a platform for individuals from various professions; such as trendsetters, thinkers, writers, creative entrepreneurs, and designers, to share their experiences.

20th March 2010: 4Play and Play Space
You need to know all the rules and directions before starting to play. At this stage, workspace is no longer limited to only your office. Creative people choose ‘city’ where to work before choosing ‘what’ to do. You must know where your workspace would be.

21st March 2010: Play Partners
Creative people do not like to play alone; they need a partner.

Amid the global economic recession, Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) aims to encourage Thai creative entrepreneurs to keep their hopes alive. Believe in what you do, do what you love and you will ‘play’ and have a ‘passion’ for your work. And that is the only thing to keep you going!
