Things

ทุกคนมี "สิ่ง" (แต่อาจจะไม่ได้มีทุกสิ่ง) ซึ่งจะแตกต่างกันไปตามสถานะและการถูกผลิตสร้างความหมาย คุณค่า และอาจจะพัฒนาไปสู่ราคา สิ่งที่ศิลปินหญิงรุ่นใหม่สองคน--ใจทิพย์ ใจดี และรัธวลี ชาญชวลิต กำลังจะพูดคือความเป็นนามธรรมของ "สิ่ง" ที่ไม่เพียงแค่การดำรงอยู่ แต่รวมไปถึงการให้ความหมาย หลายต่อหลายครั้งที่เราทุกคนหลงอยู่ในวังวนยึดติดกับการให้ความหมายของ "สิ่ง" ที่เคยมี เคยเป็นมา เปลี่ยนแปลงไม่ได้ และจำเป็นต้องดำรงคงอยู่ต่อไป จนหลงลืมว่าในโลกใบนี้ไม่มีอะไรจริงแท้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นตัววัตถุและ/หรือตัวบุคคล สุดท้ายกลายเป็นการปิดโอกาสให้กับ "สิ่ง" ใหม่ๆ ที่จะเกิดขึ้น

"สิ่ง" สำคัญในงานชิ้นนี้จึงไม่ใช่เนื้อหารูปลักษณ์ แต่เป็นความคิดที่เกิดขึ้นหลังจากที่คุณปลดปล่อยตัวตนให้เลื่อนไหลไปกับความคิดคำนึงโดยที่มีผลงานศิลปะของศิลปินเป็นสื่อนำทาง

ปลดตัว ปล่อยใจไม่เพียงให้กับพันธนาการทางร่างกาย แต่รวมถึงปลดปล่อยความคิดเดิมที่ผูกรัดและบังตา...บังใจ

Things

Everybody has “things” (although probably not everything). Their values vary in status and association levels, and may develop into monetary significance. Two emerging artists, Jaitip Jaidee and Ratawalee Charnchavalit, will express the conceptual content of “things” that not only discusses their existence, but also the formation of their meanings. All of us are often confined to traditional definitions of “things”, seemingly unalterable and permanent. We have forgotten that there is no absolute truth in an object or a person of this world. This condition has prevented new “things” from occurring.

The important “thing” in this project is not matter of the subject, but is the idea to be realised after having allowed the artworks to be a guiding path into contemplation.

To detach oneself is not only to be released from constraints of the body, but is also to be liberated from existing thoughts that have blinded the eyes and bound the spirit.
