FROM THE ARTIST

Since I was a child, I loved Art and wanted to study Fine Arts. However, my family disagreed. I went on to study and graduate from Thammasat University's Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy.
My love of painting still in me, as student I was in charge of the design for all posters and activities.
Time passed, I left Thailand to live abroad. And I stopped painting.

On my return to Thailand, my daughter gave me the most wonderful birthday present: a set of professional water colours and brushes.
I started to paint again, self-taught. And I haven't stopped since.
I met Professor Sompol Daopradabwong, a water-colour artist and lecturer. He taught me how to develop my skills.
I joined a group of like-minded 'water colour artists' in a group. And then some collectors bought some of my pieces.
That was the encouragement I needed as it showed me that people appreciate my art and my creations.

I use Mulberry paper to paint. It is locally-made and has beautiful texture.
Few artists use Mulberry paper because water colours on it are difficult to control.
I love it.
Today I want to share my works with you in my solo exhibition.
