ประสบการณ์ชีวิต และ สิ่งแวดล้อมรอบตัวที่แตกต่าง เป็นแรงบันดาลใจสำคัญต่อการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่เป็นอัตลักษณ์ของศิลปิน ศิลปินบางกลุ่มเลือกใช้สิ่งแวดล้อมเหล่านั้นก่อรูปเป็นคาแรคเตอร์ที่น่าจดจำ จนเราสามารถบ่งบอกชื่อศิลปินเพียงเมื่อได้เห็นผลงานนั้นไม่ว่าที่ใด แต่บ่อยครั้งที่ผู้ชมจดจำลวดลายและสีสันของตัวละครแต่ละตัวได้ แต่ไม่สามารถเข้าใจถึงที่มาและปูมหลังของมันก่อนที่จะกลายมาเป็นสัญลักษณ์ประจำตัวของศิลปิน..

คาฬวิท สตูดิโอ แอนด์แกลเลอรี่ จึงเล็งเห็นที่จะเน้นย้ำประเด็นดังกล่าวโดยริเริ่มโครงการรวบรวมศิลปินที่ทำงานคาแรคเตอดีไซน์ มุ่งเน้นที่จะเปิดเผยเรื่องราวที่เคยถูกเก็บซ่อนไว้ในแต่ละตัวละครออกมา โดยใช้วิธีเล่าเรื่องแบบคอมิกส์ บทความ สมุดภาพ ฯลฯ ตามที่ศิลปินนำเสนอ เปิดประตูให้ผู้ชมเข้าถึงตัวคาแรคเตอร์และอัตลักษณ์ของศิลปินได้อย่างใกล้ชิด และ ได้ทำความรู้จักกับมันได้อย่างตรงไปตรงมา
