“ราวกับตกอยู่ในภวังค์… เสมือนภาวะกึ่งหลับกึ่งตื่นและคล้ายกับจะเป็นภาพฝันในโลกแห่งความจริง ณ ห้วงขณะที่ร่างกายของฉันกำลังถูกเขาคนนั้นพันธนาการ”

ห่างหายจากการจัดนิทรรศการไปนานกว่า 6 ปี คเชนทร์ วงศ์แหลมทอง กลับมาพร้อมกับความหลงใหลใน “ศาสตร์แห่งการมัด” เริ่มต้นจากมองผ่านศิลปะการใช้เชือกเพื่อความสุขทางเพศ เกิดเป็นความงดงามจากการรัด เมื่อก้าวผ่านช่วงเวลาหนึ่ง คเชนทร์กลับมองเป็นความงามของร่างกาย และถอยมาสู่การตั้งคำถามกับค่านิยม การให้ความหมายต่อความหลงใหลที่อาจถูกมองว่า วิปริต หลายครั้งที่ภาพถ่ายอาจทำให้เราคิดสงสารบุคคลที่อยู่ในภาพ แต่แท้จริงแล้ว นี่อาจเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้เขามีความสุขก็เป็นได้

เกิดเป็นนิทรรศการภาพถ่าย “MERGE” ที่เป็นเหมือนการเดินทางผ่านเทคนิคและความประณีตของเงื่อน รวมถึงการเติบโตทางความรู้สึกที่เหนือไปกว่าการกระตุ้นอารมณ์ทางเพศ แต่คเชนทร์ มุ่งหวังที่จะสะท้อนความรู้สึกของผู้ถูกมัด ผู้มัด และมุมมองผ่านเลนส์ของศิลปินเอง เกิดเป็นการตั้งคำถาม ค้นหาคำตอบผ่านร่างกาย สายตา และประสาทสัมผัส

Solo Photography Exhibition

Kachain Wongleamthong has come back in the art scene for his second solo exhibition with the passion over rope bondage. Starting from the curiosity on bondage as a sexual activity, he has gradually seen this as purely artistic, aesthetic rope as can be called “shibari” while appreciating on the strength of the body.

Kachain said that though many people may empathize the tied models, it could possibly be their satisfaction as well. While some might view this obsession as sickness, he has sincerely presented another standpoint through his photography exhibition, “MERGE”.

This exhibition has portrayed and merged three points of view through the rope artist, the model and Kachain in order to raise people’s question with the answer from the use of their touch, sight, and heart.
