ปัจจุบันนี้ ประเทศต่างๆ ทั่วโลกกำลังเแสวงหาแนวทางใหม่ๆ ในการนำวัตถุดิบและวัสดุเหลือใช้จากการเกษตร เช่น ข้าว กล้วย มะพร้าว หรือเปลือกไม้ มาแปรรูปเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ที่มีจุดเด่นแตกต่างจากการใช้งานแบบเดิมๆ ผ่านกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ที่เรียบง่ายไม่ซับซ้อน ใครจะเชื่อว่าเพียงตัดกะลามะพร้าวเป็นสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัสเล็กๆ แล้วนำมาติดกันเป็นผืนเพื่อใช้ตกแต่งผนัง จะขายได้ดีมีราคามากกว่าผลิตภัณฑ์ตุ๊กตาจากกะลามะพร้าวที่ทำได้ยากและใช้เวลาทำมากหลายเท่า

นิทรรศการนี้จะพาคุณสัมผัสกับตัวอย่างผลิตภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติจากหลากหลายประเทศซึ่งแสดงถึงศักยภาพของวัตถุดิบจากผืนดินและผืนป่า ที่สามารถนำมาพัฒนาอย่างง่ายๆ ให้เป็นวัสดุที่ได้มาตรฐานสากล ตอบสนองความต้องการของอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ ได้ดี ช่วยเพิ่มมูลค่าให้ของเหลือใช้จากการเกษตรได้หลายเท่าตัว และยังคงเป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม

An Exhibition by Material ConneXion® Bangkok

Nowadays, countries around the world are searching for new ways to make the most of raw agricultural materials such as rice, banana, coconut, and bark. By applying new idea with simple manufacturing process, agricultural leftovers can be turned into new products which are different from existing ones in terms of application. Who would believe that simple coconut shell mosaic wall panels, made by cutting coconut shell into square pieces and arranging them together on a panel, would make a lot more profit than the more complicated and time-consuming coconut shell dolls?

This exhibition brings you green materials from countries across the globe which demonstrate the potential of raw materials from nature. These abundant materials can be easily developed into products with international standards while answering to the needs of different industries. They point out the easy ways to add value to agricultural leftovers while retaining their environmentally friendly property.

Let’s explore and spark creative ideas together in order to bring ordinary materials to the global market using genuine creativity and technology combined with cultural identity and international standards.
