Here is Life brings together more than twenty of Nida’s works at The Gallery 36. The series
of paintings in the exhibition are heavily influenced by her surroundings and her response to
emotional experiences of daily life. By transforming her feelings into paintings, the artist’s
work attempts to convey the confusion and emotions that she has felt in her life. The exhibition tells the story both good and bad days. It gives viewers a sense of kum lung jai –
the courage, power and spirit to be able to fight through not-so-perfect days and question
their feelings.

The preview night for Here is Life, Solo Exhibition by Chubby Nida will be held on Sunday
17 th March 2019 from 4PM – 7PM at The Gallery on the 36 th floor of Pullman Bangkok Hotel
G. The exhibition will continue until 19 th May 2019.
Entry is free. The Gallery is open daily from 10AM – 5PM
