Chinese culture has a long history; Chinese zodiac signs are also called the animal signs, combining 12 animals which represent the people’s birth years in China. Initially, they were used as units for calculating the time in ancient China. Through global relations between China and world, it gradually spread worldwide. However, very few people know the deeper significance they represent. What’s the mystery behind these animals? "Endless …neither dying nor being born” exhibition offers you have a unique interpretation.

"Endless …neither dying nor being born” - special interpretation of Chinese zodiac exhibition is the first solo exhibition by Bo Zhang (Edison), who currently studies Graphic Design in Assumption University. Before he came to Bangkok, he graduated with a degree in Oil Paintings from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, China.

His inspiration is closely related to his upbringing. He determined his path from his interests in traditional culture and art, which lead him to secure his life as an artist. That being said, being from the new generation, he gives his own interpretation of Chinese creativity by mixing the old and the new. He demonstrates this through line textures and perspective layering, giving his art a fresh vitality.

“Endless…Neither dying nor being born” - special interpretation of Chinese zodiac exhibition uses the unique expression to explain the basic Zen- neither dying nor being born, it connects Chinese zodiac to its inner meaning- 5 elements (Wood, fire, soil, gold and water) which are their essence, this exhibition will dissect representation layers to acquire the marrow: everything is endless, neither dying nor being born…
