Don’t Worry Be Lucky! is the latest exhibition by Luck Maisalee, an artist from Chiang Mai. It is a story of a journey of life which is full of mysterious, delightful, sought after.
Animals and other motifs are used to describe emotions, feelings …. The artist uses tigers as his main character as he was born in a tiger year according to Thai system.
The works is a mix of his passion towards folk art, naïve art, outsider art and art for children.

“My work is quite spontaneous and improvised, I did not plan ahead and such as life. It’s a cultivation of what my life journey and a feeling of that moment.

The works present in paintings, mixed media, woodcut and mono print.

Don’t Worry Be Lucky! เป็นนิทรรศการใหม่ล่าสุดของ ลักษณ์ ใหม่สาลี ศิลปินหนุ่มอารมณ์ดีจากเชียงใหม่ ที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวการเดินทาง บนหนทางการดำเนินชีวิต อันเต็มไปด้วย ความลี้ลับ น่าแสวงหา และมองโลกในแง่ดี
ภาพสัตว์ และสัญลักษณ์ต่างๆ ถูกใช่เป็นตัวแทน บรรยายอารมณ์ ความรู้สึก ในแต่ละห้วงเวลาของชีวิตของศิลปิน โดยมีเสือเป็นตัวหลัก เพราะศิลปินเกิดปีเสือ (ขาล) ตามคติความเชื่อของไทย

ลักษณะผลงานศิลปะ เกิดจากการผสมผสาน รสนิยมความชื่นชอบส่วนตัวที่มีต่อผลงานศิลปะต่างๆ เช่น FOLK ART NAIVE ART และ ศิลปะเด็กเป็นต้น

“ผมเก็บตกเรื่องราวอารมณ์ความรู้สึกในแต่ละช่วงเวลาออกมาเป็นผลงานศิลปะ ที่มีทีท่าอันหลากหลายตามแต่ความต้องการของผม ในช่วงเวลานั้นๆ ผมทำงานแบบฉับพลัน ไม่มีการวางแผนกำหนดกะเกณฑ์ล่วงหน้า”
