Simon Kolton, French photographer and director of the Bluefrog Studio has been based in Bangkok for 2 years. He has always had a true passion for photography and has had a camera in his hands since his teenage years. His favourite subject has always been the people around him. In his work, close friends and strangers have the same status making his photos very human and intimate. As he puts it, Thailand is a gigantic photo studio with a few million actors.

The serie Cabaret was not pre meditated; luck took Simon to the front door of the famous Alcazar, where he met the direction who invited him for backstage shots. The serie was made within a few nights between the Tiffany and the Alcazar. Simon still has the project of making a book out of the photos. This impressive serie is being shown for the first time and will be Simon’s first solo show in Bangkok.
