Early work: Portraits from the Mexican-American desert by Ti Foster

"...Borderline..."

This exhibition comprises a selection of the early work, taken between 1991 and 1998 and reconstructed in 2018.

Ti Foster’s ‘later’ pictures are for me all about the ‘calm after the storm’ and a deep-rooted desire to share the moment. But the road that lead him to those ‘later’ works is itself a unique expression of his talent and is complicated and rich with youthful curiosity.

This exhibition which is about that formative period is wide ranging in its influences, dissembling the search that lead this artist to himself and for this reason alone is both fascinating and instructive. These are the milestones that built the bridge across a chasm of curiosity to that most precious of places - the discovery of the ‘ I ’ they are the stepping-stones to his unique artistic essence.

Exhibition: July 6th - September 8th 2018
[ Monday-Saturday 10:00-18:30 ]
