นิทรรศการภาพถ่าย “เวิ้ง” (Before Gone)

ผลงานภาพและนิทรรศการเรื่องเวิ้งชิ้นนี้

เกิดขึ้นเพื่อตอบสนองต่อความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ไม่อาจหลีกหนีได้ตามกระแสทุ

นนิยมที่เข้ามามีอิทธิพล บีบคั้นวิถีชีวิตและผู้คนให้มีอันต้องเปลี่ยนแปลงไป

แม้ชุมชนเวิ้งนครเขษมจะเป็นชุมชนที่เข้มแข็ง

เป็นปึกแผ่นสักเพียงใดก็คงยากที่จะทัดทานกระแสการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้น

ประวัติศาสตร์ที่ยืนยาวมาหลายชั่วอายุคนจึงถึงจุดเปลี่ยนที่ไม่มีทางหวนกลับมาได้อีก

ภาพความเคลื่อนไหว วิถีชีวิตผู้คนในช่วงโค้งสุดท้ายก่อนที่จะเปลี่ยนตลอด

4-5 เดือนที่ผ่านมาถูกนํามาจัดแสดงในสถานที่

ที่ครั้งหนึ่งเป็นทั้งบ้านและร้านค้าที่ใช้ประกอบหาเลี้ยงชีพ

เป็นเสมือนการใช้เวลาร่วมกันเป็นครั้งสุดท้ายก่อนที่จะต้องแยกย้ายจากกันไปในไม่ช้า

ภาพถ่ายจะทําหน้าที่สะท้อนผู้คนแสดงการกระทํา และสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นปราฏเด่นชัด

อาคารสะท้อนวิถีชีวิตและจิตวิญญาณ เมื่อรวมทั้งสองสิ่งเข้าด้วยกันผู้เข้าชมจะได้เห็น รับรู้

และสัมผัสเศษเสี้ยวหนึ่งของชีวิตของคนที่เคยอยู่อาศัยทั้งจากภาพ

ถ่ายและจากบรรยากาศที่ยังเหลืออยู่ของอาคาร ในทุกวันที่ผ่านไป

บรรยากาศความเป็นอยู่จะค่อยๆเลือนลางลง สิ่งของจะถูกเคลื่อนย้ายออกไป

จนสุดท้ายร่องรายการใช้ชีวิตในบ้านหลังนี้จะหายไปจนหมดใน

วันที่ทุกคนต้องย้ายออกไป

เช่นเดียวกับงานแสดงภาพที่จะเลิกรากันไปพร้อมกับการจากไปของผู้คนแห่งเวิ้งนครเขษม

ขอให้ผู้ชมทุกท่านใช้เวลาสํารวจ

สัมผัสเศษเสี้ยวที่ยังเหลืออยู่ของคนเวิ้งก่อนที่จะหายไปในเวลาอันสั้นนี้

เกี่ยวกับช่างภาพ

ช่างภาพผู้สนใจในงานถ่ายภาพข่าวและภาพสารคดี

จบการศึกษาชั้นปริญาตรีจากคณะวารสารศาสตร์และสื่อสารมวลชน มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

จากนั้นไปศึกษาต่อยังมหาวิทยาลัย Birmingham City ที่ประเทศอังกฤษ และผ่านการอบรมจากFoundry Photo

Workshop เริ่มต้นทํางานจากการถ่ายภาพทางการทหาร จากนั้นจึงผันมาติดตามประเด็นด้านสังคม วัฒนธรรม

ศิลปะและวิถีชีวิต มีประสบการณ์ทํางานภาคสนามให้หลายหน่วยงานทั้งราชการและเอกชนอาทิ กองทัพเรือ

สมาคมแข่งเรือใบแห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ และสมาคมเรือพายแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นต้น

“Before gone” is a collection of images during the last 5 months before the local people have to leave their

homes due to a recent development plan of the new investor. Despite the fact that Werng Nakorn Kasem is a

strong community, it is still impossible for them to save a place where they belong. History of generations shall

come to an end soon.

Images of local activities and peoples' lives are exhibited in where once was a home for generations. This is the

final chance for them to interact, to involve and to spend time here before they have to go. A combination of

images and location atmosphere shall present glimpses of their lives which is a rare chance for outside people

to get access and be able to explore a local house.

This temporary gallery will gradually change every day until the last day of the exhibition. Goods and furniture

in the house will be removed. The spirit of the “house” will be slightly fading away each day until nothing left.

Spend your time exploring these glimpses of lives as much as you can before they are gone.

About photographer

A photographer who pursue reportage and documentary photography. Graduated Bachelor degree from

Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Thammasat University, MA from Birmingham City University

and also participated in Foundry Photo Workshop. First working with military topics then shift to social, culture

and life issues. Gain experiences from various assignments, for instance, providing reportage images for the

Royal Thai Navy, RCAT(Thailand) and YRAT(Thailand).
