รุกข์ โฟล์โร ศิลปินสัญชาติไทย-ฟิลิปปินส์ นำเสนอผลงานศิลปะสื่อผสมหลากหลายรูปแบบทั้งปฏิมากรรม, งานจัดวาง, ภาพวาด, ภาพถ่าย รวมถึงงานวีดีโอ

โดยนิทรรศการนี้ นับเป็นครั้งแรกที่ศิลปินได้ใช้โครงสร้างทางสถาปัตยกรรมของแกลเลอรี่ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเสาและคานร่วมในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจัดวาง
ทำให้พื้นที่จัดแสดงงานของแกลเลอรี่เป็นเสมือนโลกของศิลปินที่พร้อมให้ผู้ชมได้หลุดเข้ามาสำรวจ

'A Creature Apart' เล่าเรื่องของ Blastard หนึ่งในตัวตนล่าสุดของศิลปิน
ผู้ซึ่งเผชิญกับตัณหาราคะของตน แต่ยังมุ่งหวังที่จะควบคุมมันให้ได้
จนเมื่อรู้สึกตัดขาดจากโลกภายนอก เขาจึงพยายามจะปรับโลกแฟนตาซีกับความจริงของเขาให้ตรงกัน ด้วยการปลดปล่อยตัวเองจากความเป็นตัวตนนั้น โดยไม่รู้ตัว Blastard ได้เปลี่ยนไปอย่างช้าๆ นำมาซึ่งอีกตัวตน Corvus

ศิลปินกำลังตามหา "จุดยืน" ระหว่างตัวตนทั้งสองนั้น
หรือ "ความโดดเดี่ยว" คือคำตอบ

Rook Floro, a half Thai half Filipino emerging artist, takes over Yenakart Villa with a cluster of colorful installations, sculptures, paintings, photography, and a video. This show marks the first time artworks will be playfully displayed along with the architecture of the gallery. The viewers are welcome to explore the immersive world created by the artist.

The show envisions the story arc of “Blastard”, the most recent alter ego of the artist. He was confronting his lust and hoping to contain it. Detached from his surroundings, he’s been trying to realign his fantasy with reality by liberation of self. Solitude may be the answer he seeks. Without realizing, he’s slowly shifting into another alter ego, “Corvus”. The artist is trying to capture the space in between two alter egos.
