About Me :

Yodchat Bupasiri is the 25 years old illustrator. She was born on April 21th 1986. In 2009, she was graduated in B.F.A. 2nd Class Honours (Sculpture) from Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, at Bangkok, a capital of Thailand. Even though Yodchat studied in field of sculpture, she also interested in children illustration , after the graduation she started her career as an full-time freelance illustrator.

Yodchat found that both poetry and illustration corresponded to her own inner character. She started to write poetry in 2007, her works were published in both Thai political magazines and newspaper, at the same time she started to do the poetry illustration. In 2008 she won The Thailand Indy Award in Indy Book Festival, in 2010 she published her first poetry book which name is “Seasonal Sensations”, in 2011 she participated with “thaipoetsociety.com” to illustrate their website (work in progress). And now she is running the poetry picture book project “When My Dream Boat Comes Home ” which she selects 6 poem from 2 poetry book of Prakai Prachya, the Thai poet, and rearranges by herself.This picture book is planned to publish in next year.
