I am a former professional photographer who sold his studio years ago and now enjoys the life of doing photography for fun and not to pay the rent and utilities. I still love portrait and scenic photography and sharing with others. I have a camera with me every where I go and always looking for 'The Shot".

Well there has been a change in my status since the beginning of the year. After being inundated with requests for me to return to my past as a working photographer I have decided to dust off the old shingle and hang it back up. I have started taking casual environmental portraits of kids, teens and families and what a difference the digital world has given us to work with. The one problem I am finding is that I need or rather want tools for my toolbox and have to justify them more in my mind. Visit my website at www.chuckwilliams-photography.com and look around. It's a work in progress but hopefully I can have fun and make some extra money to help out.

My Equipment
I started out using a Nikon F ?? years ago, progressed to Large Format for Portrait Studio,Wedding's and Commercial work. Sold it all several years ago and walked away after getting burned out doing too many Wedding's. That's right, too many Weddings and it wasn't fun any more. I have a Nikon 8008 with a 35-70 that I bought as my first auto focus film camera when my son was born. I entered the serious digital world cautiously this year with a Nikon D-50 and I just moved up to the D-80 that I use with an 18-200 mm AF lens exclusively. I feel that less is better and with very few exceptions I never use a flash. DIGITAL RULES !!

Wow Nikon F? I love F3 HP. It's my fav manual camera. Also used to own a Nikon F801 (aka 8008). Great camera. It was my first AF camera, well my 1st camera too. :-)
