When I was asked to do this assignment I thought it would be a long wait, perhaps of many days before I got a chance to photograph a birth in Bangkok's notorious heavy traffic. I was with the unit two hours and the call came in. A women was stuck in a taxi giving birth. We rushed to the scene just in time to help her deliver her baby. The babies head had already appeared but she still had her underwear on. Her husband was in the front seat so scared he could not even help take her knickers off.
