Heavy Metal

This is another modeling project i made for a website contest. The idea is modeling a character and telling a story about it.
My character lives in a post-nuclear world like in "Mad Max" movies or in the famous "Fallout" game. She hasn't got a name but as we can see she might have a nick name like "calamity jane" or "gi jane"... You can't eat proper food because all the world is radiated, living species are mutating into something different, so it might be a wild world. She has to be tough, strong... There she carries a chopper engine of a bike which she left it 12 miles ago. Her chopper broke down and the engine needs to be fixed. There's no call-service, you have to carry it to someone you know for repairing. Keep walking girl!
I used basic polygon modeling techniques to build up the base mesh. I didn't use any rigging or bone systems to give her the pose, but i modeled her just like that. I also didn't use any cloth or skin modifiers to create her clothes. I poly-modeled everything on the model, added details using a stylus for 3d surface reshaping. No textures, no bump-maps, just a basic material. This project is a test of modeling skills and also anatomy knowledge... Took some time, but happy to be able to finish!
