My first accomplishment of 2010~

This is a birthday present I was meant to give to one of my dearest friends last Dec. I never got round to finishing it in time. So here goes~ a finishing piece~ at last...

Concept:
Circle = Continuity, a whole
Grey = The time you have spent
Color = The time you have left

Each month is divided in fraction.
Jan = 1/12
Feb = 1/6
Mar = 1/4
.... and so fort~


Process: Hand-drawn/ hand-sown/ hand-cut/ machine binded

Design concept:

-วงกลมคือสัญลักษณ์แทน​​ "การหมุนไปของเวลาที่ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด"
-ด้ายสีเทาแทนเวลาที่ถูกใช้ไปแล้ว
-ด้ายสีๆแทนเวลาที่ยังเหลืออยู่
-แต่ละเดือนถูกแบบออกเป็นสัดส่วน
-เช่น มกราฯ = 1/12 ของปี
กุมภาฯ = 1/6 ของปี ฯลฯ

Design process:
ตัดเย็บมือ วาดมือ ลงสีมือ เย็บเล่มด้วยเครื่อง
