เปิดประสบการณ์กับสารคดีชีวประวัติชั้นเยี่ยม ที่กวาด 3 รางวัลในปี 2010 และใช้เวลาถ่ายทำนานกว่า 3 ปี กับ “DAVID HOCKNEY : A Bigger Picture" (พ.ศ.2552) ผลงานกำกับโดย Bruno Wollheim เป็นสารคดีที่เล่าเรื่องราวชีวิตของ เดวิด ฮ็อคนีย์ จิตรกรชาวอังกฤษที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดคนหนึ่ง เดวิด ได้เดินทางกลับมาจากแคลิฟอร์เนีย เพื่อวาดภาพบ้านเกิดในวัยเด็กของเขาที่ Yorkshire ความงามของธรรมชาติทำให้เขากลับมาสดชื่น มีพลัง และสามารถเปิดเผยตัวตนในใจ

เดวิดใช้เวลาตลอดทั้งปีในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานชุด The Four Seasons ภายใต้ความสวยงามของชนบทนี้ โดยสร้างสรรค์งานจิตรกรรมในรูปแบบใหม่ที่ก้าวข้ามผ่านข้อจำกัดของภาพถ่าย สารคดีเรื่องนี้จะนำพาเราไปสู่ประสบการณ์อันยอดเยี่ยมและการเรียนรู้วิธีการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจจากศิลปิน

14 March 2018 : Documentary night # 7 present “DAVID HOCKNEY : A Bigger Picture"

Enjoy our special documentary film “DAVID HOCKNEY : A Bigger Picture" (2009) directed by Bruno Wollheim. David Hockney is the one of greatest living British painters who returns from living in California to paint his boyhood memories in Yorkshire. The landscape revitalizes and bares his essence.

Underneath the beauty of this countryside he took a year to create a series, ‘The Four Seasons’ David reinvented his mediums of art and denied limitations of photography while creating new work. This documentary will allow us to learn and be inspired by this artist.
