ศิลปินเมืองเพชร ณรงค์ชัย มากบำรุงจิต ผู้เชี่ยวชาญการทำเครื่องประดับศิราภรณ์ กลุ่มเพชรศิราภรณ์เครื่องประดับไท ผู้เชี่ยวชาญการทำเครื่องประดับไทยจะเปิดเผยเบื้องหลัง ภูมิปัญญาไทย "สูตรปูนปั้นโบราณ" สาธิตการทำปูนปั้นเพชรบุรี พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ร่วมฟังสัมมนาได้ทดลองทำด้วยตัวเอง

“Theatrical Headdress: The legacy of Thai wisdom”

Narongchai Markbamrungjit is a teacher and jewellery artist who specializes in Thai theatrical ornaments called “Siraporn”, or “headdress” In his attempt to learn and preserve Thai art and cultural heritage as well as local wisdom, Narongchai was drawn to study the making of theatrical headdress. Adapted from Khon mask, he uses ancient stucco formula which mainly consists of Petchburi mortar which can be mixed with any available materials such as straw paper, cement, rice flour, or calcium phosphate, and then covered with lacquer and gold leaf.
