ร่วมเดินทางกับเราไปยังหมู่บ้านเล็กๆในภาคอีสาน ที่ซึ่งคุณจะได้ศึกษา เรียนรู้วิธีการหล่อโลหะแบบโบราณโดยใช้เบ้าดิน ที่ผสมขึ้นจากดิน แกลบ และมูลวัว การทำขี้ผึ้งสำหรับงานหล่อโดยวิธีดั้งเดิมซึ่งใช้ขี้ผึ้ง และยางไม้ เป็นส่วนผสม ภูมิปัญญาชาวบ้านที่ได้สืบทอดกันมาจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นและยังมีให้พบเห็นอยู่เพียงไม่กี่แห่งในโลก
เรียนรู้เรื่องราวประวัติ ที่มา ความสำคัญ และคุณค่าของเทคนิคงานหล่อโบราณ
เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับวัสดุ อุปกรณ์ กระบวนการในการทำงานหล่อโลหะแบบโบราณ
และลงมือสร้างชิ้นงานของตนเอง

Ancient Casting workshop in Thailand

Take a journey with us in a little village in North-East of Thailand, where you can see and learn ancient technique metal casting using molds made from clay, straw and cow dung, using wax produced by mixing normal wax with gums from nature. This ancient technique remains only in very few places in the world.
You will learn about history and value of this ancient casting technique, work with wax by using ancient tools made from bamboo and curved wood, learn about tools, materials and working process of ancient casting.
You will create pieces from your own design in brass (if you wish to use other kind of metal you can bring them along with you).
