I've lived in Singapore for more than a year now. And it's been one year before we got to transfer to the new office. The new one is definitely a vast improvement compared to the old one. The plus side of this is that there is seemingly a 180 degree view of buildings nearby. The sister building of our building is being built and I've been taking photos of it when I do have time or if something has caught my fancy. Most of the time I just stare at what is happening behind our white retractable curtain.

There are many reasons why it is shot behind the white curtain. Primarily it is because people like construction workers remain nameless, so certain features are not important. It is their action that speaks a lot more. The blurring of the images also conveys that life out there, where they are, is a blur with all the heat and hardship they go through day in and day out. So as a beautiful building is slowly being built I pay homage to these nameless souls by capturing them without the burden of naming each and everyone of them.

Beautiful buildings will not be possible without them.
