อีกไม่กี่วัน จะมีสถานที่เพื่อการสร้างสรรค์เปิดใหม่ “อาร์เอ็มเอ” จึงใคร่ขอเกริ่นอธิบายจุดกำเนิดความเป็นมาของโครงการนี้ซักเล็กน้อย

“อาร์เอ็มเอ” เป็นสถานที่สำหรับปลดปล่อย ทดลองจินตนาการความคิดสร้างสรรค์และปรัชญาทางศิลปะ เป็นสถานที่สําหรับศิลปินและปราชญ์จากทุกแขนงสามารถนำเสนอ จัดแสดง พูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนทรรศนะทางศิลปะ มี workshop สําหรับผู้ที่สนใจในศิลปะแต่ละแขนงมานําเสนอให้ท่านทดลอง (รายละเอียดจะนำเสนอต่อไป)

“อาร์เอ็มเอ” หรือ “อาม่า” เนื่องจากสถานที่นี้เคยเป็นเป็นบ้านอาม่าข้าพเจ้ามาก่อน มารดาของข้าพเจ้าคือสถาปนึก/วิศวกะผู้ออกแบบสถานที่แห่งนี้ และผม ปิยทัต เหมทัต ดำเนินการจัดการ รายละเอียดจะแจ้งให้ทราบในโอกาสต่อไป

I am days away from moving into ‘rma’. This will be a start of a new chapter for me, but first I will explain what ‘rma’ is.

‘rma’ is a place for creative discovery and artistic experiments/ theories. An open space for artists to submit ideas and exhibit their creations. Also offers creative workshops and idea sharing/ consulting (more details will follow). ‘rma’ in Thai-Chinese means grandma, the most appropriate name since the space used to be my grandma’s house. She’s gone, but her legacy lives on..

Designed by my mother, a self-taught everything and me (Piyatat Hemmatat) running the op’. I’m a self-taught photographer with painting background based in Bangkok, Thailand. More info once settled in.
