Professional Info :: Editor of MyFatPocket, Bianca Zen headed the Asia Pacific branch of Anna Goodson Management, an international illustration and photography agency based in North America. The former Editor of TAXI Design Network boasts vast experiences in Editorial, Advertising, Design and Marketing. Bianca Zen has been invited to present at School of Visual Arts and has worked closely with D&AD, ICOGRADA, AIGA, New York Festival, and National University of Singapore.

In addition to being highly involved in the creative industry, Bianca Zen is also a published poet and an award-winning copywriter.

About Me :: My interest and passion for editorial, together with the influence of marketing, creativity, having a strong revenue-driven business acumen and the power of communication have crafted my professional self to be versatile, independent, team player, diligent and passionate.

Besides being an award-winning Copywriter in 2003 from Singapore Press Holdings, I have led New York Festivals® (NYF®), an International Awards Group (IAG) Company, into penetrating Singapore’s market during my tenure in TAXI Design Network in 2004 and have provided marketing and business consultation to one of National University of Singapore’s ventures and successfully brought them into the market of New York City in 2006. In 2009, I am an active freelance manuscript proofreader and editor to international authors.

I have also tapped the women’s market successfully in helping the brand, MyFatPocket, into becoming the 2nd most popular female portal in my 4th month as an Editor in my current company. As the front face of the company, I liaise directly with the media and public to ensure that the company maintains its good name whilst keeping my pulse on the market trends, new technology and consumer behavior.

As an Editor who is in a fast paced industry working under real-time deadline pressure, I am also an excellent brand strategist and marketer ensuring that all editorial content opens the window of business opportunities. Maintaining the day to day operations in the editorial department, mentoring team, ensuring daily issues are free of hiccups, keeping an eye on SEO in content, turning traffic into information via web analytics study, etc are my primary job scopes as an Editor.

I am also web-savvy, a highly creative and innovative individual with excellent communication skills who is able to think outside the box and spot opportunities amongst issues and problems faced.
