From a European family, Jeremy Kempler-Johanson (JJ) was born in New York City and grew up in Switzerland under the Asian influence of a surrogate Chinese-Filipino family. While residing between Lausanne, New York, Monte Carlo, Manila and the Caribbean, he continued to travel extensively. He then moved to Paris, France and on to Bangkok, Thailand where he is currently a resident.
Canadian Governor General Adrienne Clarkson referred to him as one of the world’s first Global Citizens; "...his extensive knowledge of North-American and French civilizations ensured the efficient promotion towards economic cooperation between France and Canada. His marketing and public relations experience, as well as his ‘savoir-faire’ and high level of competency have made him invaluable to fulfilling our mission.”
JJ was then called upon to help the French Government with the 1992 Albertville Special Olympics by their president, Andre Auberger; "We were delighted with JJ’s collaboration towards the recording of the presentation film for the Albertville 1992 Special Olympics...we were very impressed by his talent as the film was recorded in record time."
Corporate giants including Sony & IBM have also trusted JJ’s marketing/MC/presentation skills to find innovative ways to transmit their messages to various target audiences. Tad Otsuki - Director of Sony’s D21 Laboratory praised his skills, as did Sony's Public Relations Director Gene Huh; "Not only was JJ a good presenter during the event but he was also good company, making us laugh and relax during break time. Everyone appreciated his enthusiasm and language skills and could not stop praising him."
JJ brought this experience to Bangkok ten years ago working as a Journalist/MC and PR consultant. In addition to appearing on Thai TV UBC 36 in his show 'Thai Wai's', Thai TV Channel 5 and Thai TV Channel 11, he is a columnist/journalist for many publications (Prestige – 2Magazine…), Honorary Advisor to the Queen Sirikit Breast Cancer Centre, and has also conceived and participated in many private and Thai government projects such as the TAT Long-Stay Ambassador Program, the Bangkok Government’s video presentation, the Thai Ministry of Culture’s French Festival presentation, as well as participating in the French Government’s Thailand-based ‘La Fete’.
JJ's core focus examines the global human condition within current the economic context. After having conducted several hundred interviews, some with many of the world's most prominent citizens, a surprising blueprint is beginning to emerge...
