Professional Info :: 38 Media has been around since 2007 and specializes in design and development of custom web and mobile applications. We focus on providing intelligent, easy to use and easy to manage scalable solutions. While we started out primarily as a PHP and MySQL dev shop, our language repertoire has grown to include Ruby, Java, and Objective C.

We are an object-oriented development and consulting firm, both on the front and back end. Our back-end development focuses on providing flexible, scalable applications by taking advantage of frameworks such as CakePHP, ZendPHP, and Ruby on Rails, as well as some of our own custom built MVC/RESTful structures. On the front-end, we focus extensively on the user experience and utilize Javascript frameworks like jQuery, MooTools, and Dojo for great interfaces that are cross-browser compatible, as well as frameworks like SASS or LESS for robust CSS styling.

In addition to our development services, we also provide system administration to help customers maintain and protect their data. We have experience implementing and maintaining both Windows and Linux server environments, Apache2 web servers, and database servers with slaves and masters configurations. Our servers are configured to help ensure reliability and redundancy in the event of failure through load balancing and heartbeat monitoring.
