I've been working over ten years with photoshop - mostly as a book jacket illustrator these days, but I have done quite a bit of architectural visualisation and retouching in the past for a business property developer company called Rural Solutions specialising in renovating historic buildings for business.

Dear Richard

Thanks alot for replying for the job advertisement. Your work looks fantastic. Unfortunately we are really looking for a Thai national. We work for 1 photographer in London and retouch his whole workload. I will be straight with you, we get between 20-25 pounds per image. What we are looking for is someone who can process about 4 or 5 photos per day at 500thb per image. We will have to make some final adjustments to the images before sending them to the end client. Initially we would be looking to offload the odd job to on a freelance basis.

Will's work is excellent, nice client

i thought that you might prefer a thai national. I imagine its easier for payment etc.... technically I'm not supposed to work here (I'm on a thai spouse non imm O visa) but I carry on my work for british and canadian publishers all online. At the moment I'm working on a card deck which is just royalty based so I won't see payment for quite a while, so it might be good for me to fill some gaps if you are interested in me having a go. Please add my Colleague, Stephen on skype.  He would like to have a chat with you and go through a few things. His skype name is stephen.robinson81   He is the guy who does all the retouching for Will so better to speak with him rather than me.  He is sat in front of his Mac all day, every day on photoshop so you will be able to get hold of him anytime..

Hi Ben - just skyped with Stephen and he will ftp me a sample to have a go at. I'll only take it on if I know I can do a good job.

Just one thing ... would payment be in Baht or GBP? - technically I'm not supposed to work here and I'm not quite sure how to deal with that. It would be much better for me in GBP if that's possible.

Hi Richard

At the moment we are just trying to get someone in place for when we have to many images to process before a certain deadline. This happens quite often. Payment would be in THB I'm afraid because we invoice and it all gets sent over to our Thai account. I can transfer from a personal account to your or to your wife's personal account or whatever suits you best so it will not be traced from a company as any form of payment. Anyway we can think of a solution later down the line. Perhaps there would be a way to pay yours from a UK account to your UK account.
