Project Manager

Job description:

A driven and detail oriented powerhouse who strives for perfection, yet keeps an eye on the bottom-line. The successful candidate will be producing exciting events, launches, branding and marketing communications materials for a portfolio of clients and work with the account management team to exceed client objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing and managing budgets, realistic income forecasts and keeping accurate records of expenditure of production to completion of projects
  • Prioritize and plan time and resources for each of the activities for which the Project Manager is responsible, including the direction of the project management and production teams
  • Working with other departments and individuals, both internal and external, to facilitate events and marketing activities
  • Focus on brand activation projects which may be in the form of exhibitions, performances or events which may take place in Bangkok or other locations around Thailand

 

Requirements:

We are seeking a person who will be provided with an environment where he/she will be encouraged to excel in his/her creative potential while at the same time, knows how to work within the limits of practical parameters determined by the client and operating conditions. Superior working knowledge of planning software, systems and procedure are essential. The successful candidate should possess:

  • University Degree in creative, accounting or mass communications subject
  • Significant experience in event planning and management
  • Strong network of contacts in events and production industry, in particular having an excellent network of suppliers with whom you can negotiate terms to provide a first class service
  • Experience of supervising/managing staff
  • Proven skills at organizing, coordinating and planning with experience of managing budgets and ensuring that expenditure for activities does not exceed agreed limits
  • Prioritize and manage workload to tight deadlines, with a minimum of supervision
  • Ability to find solutions to operational problems that may arise and resolve them in an efficient and effective way
  • The ability to think innovatively and to use resources creatively
  • Self-motivated and creative, excited by challenge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with a wide range of people
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Post-event evaluation, producing reports encompassing financial expenditure and attendance records
  • Team player and good inter-personal skills.
  • Fluent in Thai and English
