JOB DESCRIPTION

Rue De Milan are recruiting a SENIOR WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGNER.

You have an opportunity to join a fast growing company, and take lead creative direction as the Senior Designer. We require an independent, talented individual that can work alone to suggest and provide design direction and is not afraid to take control of tasks at hand.

You will design for a variety of Digital New-Media such as Newsletters, Web Graphics & Banners, Screen Visuals & Online Marketing.

You should have expert understanding of front-end web design best practices for banners and UI design, and you should be comfortable with CMS web production such as WordPress and its admin panel functions.

Please note: This role requires someone who is a fully experienced with digital media design.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in English – both written and spoken.
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field equivalent.
Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience.
Be comfortable to work alone and manage all your own workflow.
Form your own ideas without needing support from Senior Management.
Be able to accept criticism and learn from mistakes.
Excellent knowledge of industry standard software: Adobe CS, Illustrator, InDesign.
Web Banner & HTML5 experience - both static and animated banner creation.
Experience with related software. eg/ Google web designer / Timult Hype etc.
Front-End web design - creating graphics correctly to industry standards.
Experienced with WordPress and admin functions.
Experience in design project management, team leading and delegating tasks.
