MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The QUO motion graphic designer uses their skills in AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere to create and develop story concepts, mood boards and visual storyboards into full motion graphic solutions that will meet our clients’ needs and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Take information from Account Executives and develop story concepts
• Under creative direction from Creative Director, develop mood boards, visual storyboards, animation sketches and sample animatics as appropriate for the project
• Create motion graphic solutions which meet clients’ needs and objectives. These may involve live video, 3D animation, typography and/or photography as appropriate for the project
• Collaborate with colleagues - e.g. music editor and copywriters - and third-party collaborators to deliver projects on time

Requirements:

•  Degree or diploma e.g. in Computing or Design
• Possess core skills in AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Have strong composition, colour, design, typography and layout skills
• Have the ability to tell stories visually
• Excellent understanding of motion, visual pacing and timing
• Very collaborative and enjoys working in a team environment
• Knowledge of 3D programs is a plus (Cinema 4D or Maya)
