Illustrator

Responsible for draw and illustrate graphics or illustration based on creative direction, and also to assist with print design whenever applicable. Use your creative skills in art and design to communicate a story, message or idea. You'll work to design briefs to inform or persuade requester's intended audience, adjusting the mood and style of images accordingly. Specialize in a particular design medium, such as drawing, photography or digital illustration.

Responsibilities:

• Discussing task’s needs and identifying a target audience for the work.
• Developing visual ideas that suit the brief by analyzing a brief's specification and the text to be illustrated, as well as researching sources to gain knowledge of appropriate styles.
• Using drawing, sketching, painting and photographic skills to produce illustrations; creating images and designs by using the traditional hand skills of drawing and painting, alongside other techniques, to meet design briefs.
• Thinks creatively and using imagination to produce new ideas.
• Redefining a brief through further consultation with the requester to include new ideas or text as appropriate.
• Using computer-aided design (CAD) packages to scan images and change size, colors and other elements.
• Providing roughs for approval.
• Working within a set timescale, often to tight deadlines.
• Creating original pieces for self-promotion.

Requirements:

Creativity and imaginative.
Excellent drawing skills in both traditional and digital platform.
Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and drawing pen.
Proficiency in English & Thai communication, knowledge in any other languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese) would be a plus.
Working experience in agency or production house is a plus.
