Cinematographer

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Cinematographer to create compelling video and films for our brand.

The ideal candidate will have experience in research, reporting, shooting and producing visually sophisticated video/films. Strong narrative storytelling skills as well as technical proficiency with cameras and lighting is required.

Job description:

• Works closely with Creative Head to design approach to cinematic storytelling.
• Breaks down scripts to plan the technical execution of shots.
• Provides direction and serving as a creative and technical voice for the production team.
• Works closely with Producers to ensure the timely delivery of shots to other aspects of the pipeline and to prepare, vet budgets and schedules.
• Directs film crew in preparation for shooting of films; directs, edits, and shoots film spots. Provide on-set direction to talent and crew. Sets up equipment in field locations.
• Operates a variety of audio visual devices such as digital recorders, lighting equipment, cameras, wireless microphones, and others; repairs and maintains equipment.
• Maintains cost records on all productions.
• Scout locations, run casting calls, pull permits

Requirements:

Excellent proficiency with Adobe or Autodesk video editing software.
Proficient with color grading software DaVinci Resolve.
Detail oriented with good color sense. Excellent follow-up skills; must be responsible and capable of working both independently and with a team.
Proficiency in English communication, knowledge in other languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese) would be a plus.
Minimum 5 years of working experiences in similar capacity.
