Photographer
Job description:
- Plans, schedules, coordinate and provide photographic services for the group. Serves as a principle source of information on photographic equipment and techniques.
- Oversees and executes a large variety of photograph assignments including location, studio, travel, portrait and event.
- Participates in strategic and creative concept development. Work closely with marketing, creative, digital, communications and branding team to provide strong visuals for various collaterals.
- Refines existing and develops new photography techniques and procedures. Maintains quality control throughout production of assigned projects. Keeps abreast of new development and technology in the photography field.
- Maintain a consistent workflow and full the internal image bank/digital asset management system. Grow the catalogue/archive f photographic images and ensures that images can be easily searched and retrieved. Manage, edit and curate creative content within the depository.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in photography or related field required.
- Professional experience in commercial, editorial and stock photography. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct studio and location photography.
- Deep understanding of lighting and composition and the creative eye for creating compelling still photos.
- Experienced user of DSLR cameras, preferably with prior experience working at a magazine company, newspaper or ad agency.
- Minimum 5+ years of related working experience.
- Knowledge in Word, Excel, Mac, Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Team player with a mature attitude to work cross functional teams.
- Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Travel required.
