Description:

• Assume the role of project Junior FF&E Designer to support Senior designer on various projects

• Work with design team to determine all FF&E requirements

• Prepare Selection of all FF&E and Artwork items for the project working with the design team through every stage of the design process.

• Develop design concepts of all FF&E for presentations and prepare presentations in InDesign

• Prepare with the project team documentation for tenders and sourcing of all FF&E items for a project.

• Prepare mood boards of FF&E and Artwork intent for a project together with materials samples etc.

• Coordinate and source with suppliers to research FF&E items for a project

• Report to Senior Designer to obtain approvals of all selections.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design

2. Minimum 1-2 years experience in design, preferably hospitality design

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills

2. Ability to use PC, Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD

3. Ability to sketch designs and details of FF&E as needed to communicate the design intent

4. Time management ability

5. Ability to create / provide design details of FF&E items, have Flair in styling and selecting FF&E items

6. Pro-active to search and understand use of materials and finishes

7. Organization, maintenance and curation of the library facility within the office

8. Good written and spoken English

9. Hard working

10. Team player
