Roles & Responsibilities
Editorial Vision & Management
• Drive the editorial vision for the assigned channel (s) working in collaboration with the product management team to enhance business opportunities.
• Determine the right content mix, including developing a content acquisition/ development plan.
• Manage the editorial programming plan for major events that pertain to the channel.
• Manage the programming calendar while taking into account business priorities and determining the best way to achieve strong business results.
• Determine the right mix between the need to drive engagement and support strong customer satisfaction while supporting business initiatives.
• Help develop and ensure adherence to processes, quality standards, and other appropriate content execution;
Content
• Lead a team that delivers creative content programming that is vibrant and engaging, as wel as able to support a variety of business models,
Daily Execution
• Be responsible for day-to-day content publishing, tracking and reporting, including hands on work (Copyediting, headline writing, photo selection, multimedia integration, etc.)
Partner Management
• Recommend content partners that will help to enrich the channel’s content and heighten the level of user engagement, and work closely with them on day-to-day content delivery.
Social Media
• Successfully utilize social media as an additional entry point for channel content.
• Reporting & analysis
• Use analytics to refine programming strategies and increase user engagement

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in journalism, English or Communications preferred
• 5-10 years experience in editorial experience in a customer-focused daily publishing environment
• Ability to work a variable shift pattern as editorially necessary.
• Extensive experience of web publishing platforms, including photoshop, HTML and CMS skil s.
• Good Command in English
