Job Description

Regularly generating, and encouraging writers and reporters to generate, ideas for high-impact news coverage, breaking news, story packages, analyses and original insights
Managing a team of reporters, editors, photographers, copy editors and production personnel to work within timeframe
Research/write/copyedit travel articles, advertorials, and news for the magazine both printed and online edition and its supplements
Manage press releases, story pitches, determination of future editorial
Create and update an ongoing list of public relations personnel and media contacts
Developing and maintaining, in consultation with the Editorial Director, a clear strategy for continuously improving the overall quality and impact of content in Tropical Magazine, both printed and digital edition

Qualification

Thai nationality with English editing / writing background
Bachelor's / Master's degree in journalism, communications, or related fields
Ability to demonstrate outstanding communication skills which include a thorough command of the English language, spelling, writing and grammar
Editorial experience for 3-5 years with In-depth knowledge of publication production.
Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
