Assistant Curator

Two positions. One full time position and one part-time position.

Duration:

Three month paid trial period leading onto a one year contract

Overview:

If you are interested in working alongside some international photographers, filmmakers and entrepreneurs and you are happy being creative whilst based on the beautiful location of the Chao Phraya river, then this work can be perfect for you.

What we want are people interested in curating artwork, interested in organising shows and events and people happy to serve a cup of tea as well.

Keen individuals who want a different experience and happy to work long hours to be part of helping establish a vibrant multimedia space in Bangkok.

We want people comfortable using Facebook, twitter and the various blog systems to update the audience on what we are up to and most of all we want creative people willing to use their initiative and their own ideas to bring something to us. We want and need individuals who can communicate their ideas and the more fun, crazy and hardworking - the better!

Responsibilities and Requirements:

- bilingual Thai and English speakers to work on a daily basis

- Opening and closing the space, times are generally from 11am to 7pm

- daily simple tasks include cleaning the space to promoting scheduled events and exhibitions and keeping our Facebook page and website updated and working alongside us

- to co-ordinate with theSRK and Hubba in producing shows

Payment:

This position is paid, fees to be discussed on interview.

Remember:

If you have ideas for shows and events, you have full license to pitch the idea to us and we can make it a reality. Its important that we have applicants who are creative and have initiative and can communicate well. There are absolutely no age restrictions.
