Talisman Media Group, publisher of Bangkok’s leading visitor magazine Bangkok 101 and the Bangkok Art Map (BAM!), is urgently looking to fill the following position:

ART DIRECTOR

-          Layout Talisman Media print publications using Indesign.

-          Oversee and Manage in-house graphic design and magazine production processes. Coordinate with clients and printers on proofs, advertising approvals etc to ensure quality of the end-result.

-          Picture editing (using Photoshop).

-          Create logos, style sheets and layout designs for print and adhoc projects as and when needed.

-          Support the sales team on the design and layout of adverts for clients, as well as Talisman in-house ads, logos, media kits and other literature.

-          Develop advertising for www.bangkok101.com and other in-house websites (using Illustrator).

-          Work efficiently to deadline.

REQUIREMENTS:

-          Thai citizen, fluent in spoken & written English.

-          Bachelor Degree in related fields.

-          A creative and innovative self-starter.

-          Superb, proven graphic design skills.

-          Minimum 3 years working experience in magazine layout, design, or advertising design (especially in the hotel, spa or travel industry)

-          Excellent working knowledge of MAC OS, Adobe Creative Suite Programs (InDesign, PhotoShop & Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat and MS Office.
