Traffic Controller/Coordinator (Creative)

The traffic controller’s responsibility is to keep everything running smoothly, despite the constant changes and demands of the requestors. On any given day, the traffic controller will:

  • Meet with the heads of departments to learn about the status of existing projects, and details about new projects coming into the team.
  • Create a schedule for new jobs, and assign those tasks using the trafficking system in place (this is usually done with software, and many tasks are automated) based on the workload creative's & availability.
  • Review current and future timelines and job statuses with the heads of department, and if necessary, the individuals (designer) working on the jobs.
  • Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities. This often happens when requestor initiate rush jobs, or the team becomes involved in a pitch.
  • Report to Creative Director about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into the team.
  • Work with the accounting, finance and production departments on invoicing, and possible additional costs due to rush fees, or unexpected deadlines.
  • Work with freelancers and temporary contractors, getting them up to speed on jobs they will have assistance with. Manage freelancers and vendors portofolio and getting quotation from them by giving them brief. Handle the PO, Invoice part for third party too.
  • Traffic will need to understand the process of the works so she would able to judge how long the job can be done and how difficult the changes is. Traffic also will need to advise what is the timeline of certain illustration/3D/DI/Photography shoot and estimated cost.

Key responsibilities:

Able to ensure the work flow is smooth and the material is out on time even while creative or traffic is on leave. Traffic will need to plan ahead for projects, workloads & public holidays gap

  • Leading and coordinating campaigns from initial stages through to delivery.
  • Ensuring the stages of the project are met according to client and creative brief, budget, resource and deadline deliverables
  • Monitoring current traffic processes and inputting ideas on how to improve current practices where required
  • Analysing campaigns to report on visitor data and user experience.
  • Managing campaign resources and updating key stakeholders on requirements and supply.
  • Working across multiple projects and ensuring all parties are informed of progress and problems.
  • Building effective relationships with key departments and requestors.

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience may be preferable to qualifications for this role. You must have a passion for the web and digital technologies.  You’ll need to be responsible and also think TOO MUCH so you are able to avoid problems happening & a problem solver too. In another word, traffic is something who love to find problem and solve it.

  • Proven project and account management experience
  • Solid knowledge of social media advertising platforms and Google Adwords
  • Resourcing experience with high volume traffic projects
  • Adept at briefing creative teams and reporting into clients
  • Skilled at working under pressure
  • Proficient in both Thai and English languages. Knowledge in other languages would be a plus.
