Jacob Jensen Design | KMUTT Bangkok is looking for a talented and enthusiastic full-time industrial

designer to work as a member of our international design team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Idea generation and concept development

•  Product design development

•  Work collaboratively with the Studio Creative Director and global design team to create

authentic and elegantly simple design solutions.

•  Participate and support the design team during factory visits, design briefs and design

implementation meetings

•  Interface with clients’ engineering teams and sourcing partners of machine-made mock-ups.

•  Project management including managing time plans, deliverables and budgets

•  Storyboarding and client presentations

•  Assist in mentoring design apprentices and interns

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

•  Qualified applicants must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Industrial Design

•  Proven 3+ years of professional experience from similar job position

•  Experienced in hands-on model making

•  Ability to clearly communicate ideas through quality sketching

•  Expert in Adobe Creative Suite e.g. Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign

•  Expert in CAD and renderings software e.g. Solidworks / Rhino / Keyshot

•  Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

•  Strong aesthetic eye for the detail and good sense of proportions

•  Work independently with responsibility for time plan and budget management

•  Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and be flexible as part of an international team

•  Good command of written and spoken Thai and English

•  A keen eye for graphic design will be appreciated
