We are seeking visionary and passionate Interior Designers / Architect to work with an
assorted range of retail related clients and other interior projects. Whitespace Co., Ltd is an
American owned design firm based in Bangkok, Thailand. Whitespace is a recognized leader
in Thailand for our retail and brand designs. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team
of designers and work on projects from retail to hospitality.

“รู้จัก whitespace ตั้งแต่เรียนมหาวิทยาลัยเพราะเราได้เรียนวิชา Design และได้ยื่น portfolio มาให้ทาง whitespace เพื่อพิจารณาและให้เราได้ฝึกงานที่นี่ค่ะ วันฝึกงานวันแรกก็มีเกร็ง ๆ ค่ะ เพราะการฝึกงานวันแรกก็เหมือนวันทำงานวันแรกของเรา แต่เพราะพี่ ๆ ใน office ทำให้อาการเกร็งหายไปทันทีค่ะ กลับกลายเป็นความรู้สึกเหมือนเราอยู่กับพี่น้องในครอบครัว พี่น้องในมหาวิทยาลัย ที่เป็นกันเอง สนุกสนาน และช่วยเหลือซึ่งกันและกันอย่างอบอุ่น เราฝึกงาน 4 เดือนแต่เวลาผ่านไปเร็วมากค่ะ ทุก ๆ วันมีสิ่งใหม่ ๆ ที่เราต้องศึกษา และลงมือทำ ซึ่งส่วนมากเป็นสิ่งที่เราแทบจะหาไม่ได้ในมหาวิทยาลัย จนกระทั่งเราเรียนจบก็ได้มาสมัครงานที่นี่อีกครั้ง whitespace ก็ได้ให้โอกาสเราได้เป็น designer ของที่นี่อย่างเต็มตัวค่ะ จากเด็กฝึกงานจนเป็น designer ของที่นี่ เราอยู่กับองค์การนี้มาเกือบ ๆ 3 ปีแล้วค่ะ เราได้เห็นครอบครัวนี้ค่อย ๆเติบโตอย่างแข็งแกร่ง แต่บรรยากาศในครอบครัวนี้ไม่เปลี่ยนเลยค่ะ ทั้งหมดนี้ ขอขอบคุณ whitespace ที่ให้โอกาสเรามาโดยตลอด ขอบคุณจริง ๆ ค่ะ”

Job Description
The Interior Designer / Architect will work with our Senior Designer/Principal and Project
Manager with overseeing long-term and short-term retail and other interior related projects.
Responsibilities
• Defines program requirements and establishes interior design parameters based on
client requirements
• Generates and develops overall interior design concepts; formulates design
presentation strategies and makes presentations
• Manages interior design process for entire project consistent with project’s program,
budget and time constraints; leads/directs the work of other interior designers and
technical staff
• Manages project budget and schedules related to interior design team efforts
• Manages client interaction and decisions related to interior design

Qualifications
• Bachelor or higher degree in Architecture or Interior design.
• 3+ years experience. Department store / retail environment design experience
• Possess basic hand and CAD drafting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Basic proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketchup graphic software preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of finishes, materials, furnishings and standards
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in team environment
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• English is a plus
• Self-motivated, detail orientated and client focused, ability to work in a team office
environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, met deadlines and work collaboratively on multiple projects
at once
