Job Description

We are expanding the architectural design team to serve the work in the studio. The Interior Designer / Architect will work with our Senior Designer/Principal and Project Manager with overseeing long-term and short-term retail and other interior related projects. Whitespace Co., Ltd is an American owned design firm based in Bangkok, Thailand. Whitespace is a recognized leader in Thailand for our retail and brand designs. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team of designers and work on projects from retail to hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Defines program requirements and establishes design parameters based on client requirements

• Generates and develops overall design concepts; formulates design presentation strategies and makes presentations

• Manages design process for entire project consistent with project’s program, budget and time constraints; leads/directs the work of other designers and technical staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Architecture or Interior design.

• 0+ years experience. Department store / retail environment design experience

• Possess basic hand and CAD drafting skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Basic proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max preferred.

• Basic proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketchup graphic software preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of finishes, materials, furnishings and standards

• Ability to work in team environment

• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

• English is a plus.

• Self-motivated, detail orientated and client focused.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, met deadlines and work collaboratively on multiple projects at once.ted to design
