Role & Responsibility

  • Works with account teams to develop media strategy to meet with clients’ marketing objectives.
  • Prepared and presents media plans, including objectives, strategy, rationale, and all backup materials.
  • Supervises the execution of media plans, budgets, schedule, contracts, and supporting materials.
  • Trains and supervises buyers and planners in all media
  • Acts as primary negotiator and coordinator with sales representatives for merchandising assistance, readership study results, and other miscellaneous activities.
  • Maintains close contact with all media representatives seeking ways to better communicate with buying influence and seeking detailed information on market conditions.
  • Attends outside representations by the media for the purpose of evaluating new information/services and to maintain good rapport with sales representatives; maintains a high professional profile.
  • Proof of advertising performance is reflected in accountability reports submitted by various media for clients’ campaigns.
  • Clients are making progress toward the achievement of their objectives and recognize media’s contribution to their overall plans.

 ·         Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management, outside officials and agencies, and the public, expressing ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.

  • Demonstrate skills critical for managerial success including leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, analytical and communication skills.
  • Plan, organize and prioritize work, assign and supervise the work of others.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in work environment.
  • Work accurately with close attention to detail, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Computer skills, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising; Master degree is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience.
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce.
