We are looking for an experienced Design Director with strong graphic and web design skills, and the ability to lead a team of design professionls in a very fast growing, innovative company.

Monsoon Communications, Ltd. provides web design, web development and marketing to over 600

Position Requirements

Team Leadership and Management - you need to be a strong leader who knows how to maintain a positive work team spirit. You need to be able to show by example what great design is and be an outstanding teacher of others.
Solid Business Understanding - over the next few years we will be managing thousands of client websites. We are a new business model focused on scaling Internet Presence Management services for small businesses around the world. You will be part of our leadership team driving innovation in production, process, and design that can scale to 10,000+ clients.
Willingness to Learn and Adapt - most likely you're coming from an agency. We are not a traditional agency model - in fact we want to turn the web development and design industry upside down with our new and innovative business model. You need to bring your fantastic experince - but be ready to think different and take on a bold new challenge to reinvent you industry.
Expert Web Design Skills – you must have a current portfolio of your web and graphic designs showing examples of projects you’ve designed. We are looking for examples of modern, clean business to business designs.
Strong attention to detail and quality – you must be an individual who pays attention to details and the quality of your work. You work style must be organized and disciplined.
Creative - you should have examples of creative work for difficult projects
CSS/HTML Experience – you should have solid HTML and CSS experience needed for content design and layout.
Graphic and Web Publishing Tools – Expert Photoshop experience required. Experience with CMS-based websites, especially WordPress a plus.
General web production experience – you should have have knowledge of web fundamentals and experience in the production and support of web sites.

About You

You should have the following qualifications and experience;
Excellent English reading and speaking required.
Leadership skills to teach and support our team
Undergraduate degree required, graduate preferred
5-10 years minimum experience in similar roles
Flexibility to work in a young start-up company with a positive “we can do it” attitude.
An individual who loves being part of a hardworking but fun-loving team.
